90-year-old man reunited with ring dropped down the toilet

90-year-old Jesse Mattos dropped his ring down a toilet in a butcher's shop 73 years ago.
The ring had been a graduation ring to commemorate leaving school. However, 73 years later, a sanitation worker found it in the sewers where he worked.
Being a graduate himself of the school, 52-year-old Tony Congi immediately recognized the ring. The ring had Mr. Mattos' initials and year of graduation. Mr. Congi then consulted the 1938 yearbook (after cleaning the ring of course) and found that the owner of the ring was Jesse Mattos. He returned the ring back to its owner after 73 years.
