Awesome music!!! The alternative music scene

Recently I played popular alternative music song 'Midnight City' by alternative music band M83. I highly enjoyed the song, finding it highly enjoyable and a good basis for the future music scene of alternative music. Alternative is often described as a mix of pop and rock. Rather than hard rock, it has been described as 'soft rock' or even 'limestone rock'(Chris Martin describing his band's music). After listening to the songs currently in the iTunes top ten (alternative), I must say, I am impressed. The songs are unique, refreshing and as a general rule goods songs. I'm really excited about the future of alternative music. The artists are really creative and experimental, and my favourite alternative albums are: All Coldplay albums(Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head, X & Y, Viva La Vida and Death and All His Friends, Mylo Xyloto) Torches by Foster the People Tongue Tied by Grouplove (single) Midnight City by M83 (single) Brother by Matt Corby (single) Moonfire by Boy and Bear Making Mirrors by Gotye You've Got the Love by Florence + the Machine Love Love Love by Avalanche City And a whole lot more!!! I am extremely excited about alternative music on 2012!!!
