Boy sells his kidneys for iPad

A 17-year-old Chinese boy, identified only as Zheng, sold one of his kidneys for money to purchase an iPad and a laptop.
Zheng had wanted the iPad so badly that when he saw an online advertisement offering money for organs.
After negotiations, the boy travelled to Chenzhou in Hunan province to perform the operation at a local hospital, which later admitted to selling its urology department to a private businessman.
On returning home with his new laptop and iPad, the boy confessed to his mother, who took the boy back to Chenzhou and reported the crime. However, the hospital denied knowledge of the surgery.
